Setting: A snowy winter in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the 1950s. Main Character: Anne Dillard, seven year old courageous girl who enjoys playing football. Anne values concentration and courage. She is competitive, driven, and tomboyish. Conflict: The children throw snowballs at the cars. The man is determined to catch the kids. He follows Anne because she is the slowest and easiest to catch. (young girl vs.older boys) Solution: Man scolds Anne, but she thinks his words are redundant (something she has head before). She admires the fact that he never gave up in his chase for her! ++Theme: Never give up-stay determined!
